A microschool is a small, educational setting that offers personalized learning experiences for students. With small class sizes and a focus on individualized instruction, microschools often prioritize hands-on learning, flexible scheduling, and community engagement to create a tailored educational environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
Genesis academy is committed to keeping class sizes small. As our school grows we will not exceed 12 students per one certified teacher.
At Genesis Academy, we focus less on traditional grade levels and more on meeting each child where they are academically and developmentally. Our program is designed for children typically ranging from ages 5 to 11 years old, encompassing what would conventionally be considered Kindergarten through 5th grade. However, our priority is ensuring that each student receives personalized instruction tailored to their individual needs, regardless of grade level.
At Genesis, younger students will benefit from the mentorship of older peers, while older students will thrive in leadership roles. Older students will be able to show mastery by modeling for their younger peers.
We hope to offer scholarship opportunities at Genesis Academy! We believe every student deserves alternative instruction opportunities despite of financial needs. We are currently looking for partners to help us build a scholarship fund to help make this happen.
